movies week..

I've watched Iron man and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian this week.. been really lazy with work.. I did not even touch a bit at all.. haha.. screwed! this Thursday is MQA's meeting.. and how unfortunate that I was chosen to be part of it.. I hate interviews.. cos its all fake.. we have to say all the good things about the COLLEGE.. about the LECTURERS.. and about the COURSE of course.. cos if we don't then I am sure we have to bear the consequences.. felt so cheated and black mailed.. s0 back to the movies..

Iron Man

Rating: A+

Storyline was good.. action scenes were great.. and with loads of comedy script in it.. not to forget the graphics were really good.. and its a must watch in the cinema..

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Rating: C

I was sleeping throughout 1/3 of the show.. the talking parts were really boring.. I only woke up when they started fighting.. and I actually watched it at the cinema.. so its a waste of time and money.. just watch it at home.. so you can skip the boring part and head to the fighting scenes..






p/s: next must watch movie would be, Hellboy, Indiana Jones and Hancock.. heard Speedracer was good too..

The Forbidden Kingdom..

I just watched The Forbidden Kingdom at Cineleisure today.. me and baby had full anticipation with this movie.. cos it is the first movie starring both Jackie Chan and Jet Li together.. and it turns out to be really disappointing.. besides the usual fighting scenes that can be found in their existing movie and the graphics in this movie.. nothing else is good anymore.. the storyline sucks so badly.. and the funniest thing is all of the characters were dressed up like the Ching Dynasty era.. but they speak and communicate in English in this movie.. I know they wanna push this movie further.. but I rather that they till speak in Mandarin or Cantonese and have English subtitles instead.. not to say both J's speak very fluent English..

Mainly the story is based on The Monkey God.. but somehow and some of the parts felt more like The Lord Of The Rings.. or perhaps Harry Potter.. or even Ju On.. haha.. the Ju On part is when the white hair lady starts to pull and climb on her on hair when she fell of the cliff.. I just cannot start laughing and laughing throughout the whole movie.. Anyhow, this is not a must watch movie.. but to watch it just for the sake of the two J's then go ahead.. but watch it like I did today.. choose to watch on the Wednesday.. only RM6.. cheap cheap.. at least I don't have to pay RM10 or more for this.. just not worthy..

Brokeback Mountain & Candy..

Due to his tragic death and as the world continues to mourn the loss of Heath Ledger.. I've decided to lay back a little while and refresh back on the movies that he once acted in.. Hence, I've chosen Brokeback Mountain and Candy.. both turns out to be a really worthy one.. after watching these two movies.. I quickly went online and search for the Batman 2 trailer.. and now I can't wait to watch Heath Ledger (starring as The Joker) once more.. Batman 2 is gonna be a great one.. I'm anticipating for it..

Brokeback Mountain is definitely not a gay movie! it is not wrong to be bisexual.. nobody is perfect in this world.. and it is never wrong to love someone of the same gender.. two thumbs up for Heath Ledger's bravery who brought life into his character.. and for his passion which creates such a wonderful film.. love is indeed a force of nature..

More Is Never Enough - Candy

This story is a narration from an Australian man who falls in love with two kinds of Candy: a woman of the same name and heroin. The narrator changes from a smart-aleck to someone trying to find a vein to inject, while Candy changes from an actress, call girl, streetwalker, and then a madwoman. Starting in Sydney, the two eventually end up in Melbourne to go clean, but they fail. This leads them to turn to finding money and heroin, while other possessions and attachments become unimportant. This film is organized in three acts titled Heaven, Earth and Hell.. In Heaven, portrays that sex and drugs are experienced ecstatically by the young lovers.. In Earth, they are married and confront the reality of the untenability of addiction and family life.. In Hell, they experience the dissolution of their relationship and the recovery of one of the characters.. Drugs are indeed more is never enough..

the legacy of a legend..

I am legend was a fantabulous show!!! Two thumbs up for the story line, the graphic effects.. and not to forget Will Smith's acting skills.. he was such a good actor.. Went and watch it in Cineleisure today with baby.. then bumped into Tiffany and Wei Hoong.. and coincidence we were watching the same movie in the same cinema and at the same time.. this movie made me tear up few times.. it was really touching.. and its definitely worthy to watch.. so watch it people!

Secret by Jay Chou..

and yes.. I finally watch Secret starring Jay Chou.. after hearing and reading all the good reviews about this movie, I was kinda anticipated.. hence, I quickly went to Summit and grab the DVD home to watch.. and I've got to say that this is one hell good movie.. (despite the fact of Jay Chou is the director and the main actor in the movie) and his acting skills has certainly improved.. no more dungul looking like a potato when he acted in Initial D.. I guess he felt better with his own mother language rather than Cantonese.. I personally love romance and love story.. and this really did made me cry.. *thumbs up*

impak maksima..

last night baybee and I went to Cineleisure to watch Impak Maksima.. and hell yeah, we actually went to the cinema for a bloody local production.. cos baybee said we should support the Malaysian Movies.. hence, my money were wasted and I should have just buy a DVD for this!!! not a privated one, cos I don't even think they ever gonna fake this movie out no wonder nobody wants to support the local production.. cos this was really bad.. the drifting skills were good.. its just the props and the graphics went down down down.. the storyline were very much expected to be.. and I still thinks that "Sepet" is the best local production ever!!!

see a drifting Waja.. and it's a local car.. cool-eh!!!

Nissan Slyvia!!!

on and all, the Malaysian drifting skills certainly deserved a credit.. I mean they can really drift, unlike those American drifting movies that you have watch.. but this one certainly has the essence of being Malaysian.. Malaysians can really drift! *bravo*

the comedy lines were not too bad.. and I guess without this comedy parts the movie will be real dead.. another credit for the comedy line..

and this was the funniest saddest part of them all.. me and baybee couldn't stop laughing because the bloody graphic effect that was added into this movie sucks like hell!!! it spoils the whole god damn movie.. if it was just the drifting alone without all these graphic skills, the movie would be alright.. so now it's from okay to bad bad bad!! gees, I don't understand why can't they just find a bloody junk car to blow it up rather than adding the graphic thingy inside.. cheap production I would say to justify this..

this is Ah Fai.. one of the drifters in the movie.. and he's the only Chinese! I'm not being racist okay? and Mr. Fai's drifting skills are good.. but Mr. Fai's acting skills were almost expressionless.. and throughout the 1 and a half hour of movie.. he only spoke a dialog.. no. not a dialog but a phrase.. no, it wasn't a phrase through.. it was just a line.. nah.. its more like just 4 words.. and yes, he only said "Brother, on or off?" and that's all that I ever heard from him again.. wtf?

and this is Ray.. I mean his nickname in this movie.. I don't even know who the hell is he.. and I don't even wanna find out.. his character in this movie really pissed me off.. it's not bout his acting skills, cos his acting skills truly portray his identity very much.. I just hate his hairstyle in this movie! it's fucking ugly and its just so so so ugly!!! his hair was like covering his 80% of his face and I really don't know how the hack he'll be able to drive that way.. ewwww.. hate it!

I would give a B+ for the drifting skill..
a B- for the story lines..
and a F for the graphic effects!!!

Finally I watch 200 pounds beauty last night.. hillarious yet touching yet entertaining.. something to ease my boredom sickness.. I'm still fucking confused bout my studies.. haven't make any decisions bout it.. I don't even bother to place in on my list of thoughts.. It's just so intimidating and I am so demotivated for what has happened.. ARgghh! fuck it.. back to my movies.. after 200 pounds beauty I watch another movie called "My Wife is Gangster 3".. it wasn't a good one though.. and tonight I'm gonna watch Nana II! *grins*

last night I was busy packing my stuffs.. now I only have a few pieces of clothes to wear.. the rest were all boxed up.. I couldn't sleep.. so I decided to watch the Japanese movie called Nana.. and indeed it was a good one.. few scenes in it almost made me tear.. (LOL, as usual.. I tear easily).. the soundtrack were really good.. and Oosaki Nana (Mika Nakashima) can really really sing and she's really versatile.. 3 thumbs up for this movie!!! (=

spidey movie!!!

finally get to watch Spiderman III today.. the movie was absolute but the audience in the cinema were totally absurd!!! they were so damn fucking noisy and they just wouldn't keep their mouth shut.. including the kids (definitely not to be forgiven).. their parents are just plain dumb.. can't they just handle their kids properly and teach them the right attitude especially when they are in a god damn cinema..

and you know what.. the majority of these nuisance are all Malays.. no offence and i am not being racist.. these typical type of people are just pain in the arses.. they can wit away as tough everyone else has ear plugs in their ears.. they stare at u as tough u were blind and u won't know that they are starring.. but when u give them the cold stare back, they make as if they were invisible! this is how annoying these people are..

culture.. culture.. culture.. just blame the culture for these upbringings.. hope they can just respect others and keep their mouth shut when they are in a cinema.. thank god the movie was for free.. but me and baybee have to devour to large spidey meals from burger king in order to get these two free tickets.. and we nearly couldn't get the tickets due to some unforeseen circumstances.. anyhow, the free movie passes comes with goodie bags.. and baybee was truly contented with the VIP passes.. LOL..

the goodie bag consist of a poster.. a fridge magnet.. a pen.. and the VIP passes..
